Journée mémorable aujourd’hui

J’ai tiré mes premiers bords sur mon Imoca Freelance.com et autant vous dire que c’était juste la folie !

Il y avait à peine 8 noeuds de vent et pourtant on filait à plus de 10 noeuds !? J’ai encore du mal à réaliser !

C’est sûr que ça me change de mon voilier Yvinec ou de mon rameur.

Dernièrement j’avais plutôt l’habitude de faire marche arrière en ramant comme un forcené… À présent je dépasse la vitesse du vent !

Allez, j’y retourne, j’ai beaucoup à apprendre pour maîtriser ma formule 1 des mers avant la première course … Le 8 MAI !!

I’ve been experiencing the first tacks onboard Freelance.com, my IMOCA !

There was barely 8 knots of wind, but we were gliding more than 10 knots speed ! It’s so amazing, I still don’t believe it !

For sure it’s a radical change from my sailboat Yvinec or my rowing boat Romane ! Let say I am more used to go backwards than to overspeed the wind !

I have to go, I have so much to learn to handle my Ocean Formula 1 before the first race…. On May 8th !!!
