Joyeux Noêl les amis !

Le temps file toujours à une vitesse folle et me renvoie souvent à cette même période.

Il y a 6 ans, le coeur n’était pourtant pas à la fête. Le bateau s’était fait compressé par la banquise, disloquée par une mauvaise tempête. 

Pour moi, mon bateau était perdu, échoué sous l’assaut des icebergs, drossé à la côte, à deux doigts de se briser.

J’avais enfilé ma combinaison de survie, rassemblé mes affaires vitales dans des sacs étanches et je m’apprêtais à quitter le navire avec Monique sous le bras en espérant ne pas finir congelés le temps de monter un campement de fortune à l’extérieur.

Ma bonne étoile avait fait le reste : le vent avait fini par tourner et la marée montante avait remis Yvinec à flots. C’était mon plus beau cadeau, un vrai miracle !

Alors vivent les étoiles de Noël !

Merry Christmas my friends

Time flies so fast and always throw me back to that same time.

6 years ago I was in the middle of ice floe during a storm that compressed my boat so hard that it was dragged to shore.

I really thought I was losing it for good.

I had my dry suit on, vital stuff in a dry bag, Monique under the arm, and I was about to leave the boat to build a camp on the ice.

My good star made it happen : the wind changed, pushing the icebergs away, and the rising tide freed the boat afloat. It was more than a gift, a miracle.

So long life to Christmas stars !
