On ne vous a pas donné beaucoup de nouvelles, mais il faut dire que l’on a pas chômé !
-Installation d’un nouvel enrouleur de génois✔️
-Check-up entier du gréement✔️
-Nouveaux feux de navigation en tête de mât & nouvelles lumières de pont✔️
- Installation d’un nouveau radar pour détecter les icebergs à l’approche de l’Antarctique ✔️
-Renforcement du bout dehors (à l’avant du bateau), abîmé pendant le Grand Nord ✔️
-Check-up complet de tout le réseau électrique intérieur et extérieur du bateau + changement de tous les câbles électriques qui passent dans le mât ✔️
-Changement des anciennes batteries ✔️
-Installation du nouveau système internet pour vous envoyer plein de photos et vidéos quand on sera en mer📷✔️
-Installation d’un Iridium Go pour pouvoir tracker notre position et nos conditions météos en temps réel 🌤✔️
-Installation d’un nouveau pilote automatique & d’un régulateur d’allure ✔️
Voilà, on hisse les voiles ! direction le Grand Sud sans escale !
Et oui, on a du changer de programme. initialement on voulait aller se dorer la pilule en Polynésie mais là-bas ils ont fait savoir qu’il ne voulait pas de Monique, pour des risques de grippe aviaire. Monique a pourtant une aucun microbe, elle a même vu un vétérinaire ici. Mais c’est la vie !
Tant pis, c’est décidé, cap au sud. La route va être très longue les amis, on compte sur vous pour nous soutenir, maintenant que nous pouvons nous connecter depuis le bord.

-Installation of a new furler ✔️

-New navigation lights & new deck lights✔️
-New radar to detect icebergs near Antarctica ✔️
-Strengthening of the front of the boat -damaged during our wintering in Greenland ✔️
-Check-up of the whole electrical network inside and outside the boat & changing of all the electric cables inside the mast ✔️
-Changing our old batteries ✔️
-Installation of a new internet system to send you lots of photos and videos when we’ll be on seas 📷✔️
-Installation of an Iridium go, with that you’ll be able to track our position and our weather conditions in real time ✔️
-Installation of a new autopilot & windvane ✔️
So now, let’s set sails ! We are heading to the Great South nonstop. And yes, we had to change the program. Initially we wanted to go sunbathing in Polynesia but there they don’t want Monique, for the risk of avian flu. Monique has no germs though, she even saw a veterinarian here. But “c’est la vie !”
Too bad will go through Cape Horn then ! The road is going to be very long friends, we are counting on you to support us, now that we can connect from the boat.
