L’homme heureux a bien pris le large à bord de sa soucoupe volante Freelance.com en direction de l’Islande !
Il a volontairement pris un départ en retrait par sécurité puis il est remarquablement remonté à la 12ème place du classement !
Ce soir il pointe à la 14ème place sur 25 IMOCAs. Précisons que près de la moitié de la flotte est composée de foilers. (voiliers capables de voler sur une aile porteuse en carbone donc beaucoup plus rapides que les voiliers à dérives comme celui de Guirec).
Les concurrents arrivent à présent dans la zone où le vent va se faire si rare qu’il va falloir parfois l’inventer. C’est une étape tactique qui va redistribuer drastiquement les cartes !

Off to Iceland!
The happy man took off aboard his Freelance.com spaceship in the direction of Iceland!
He voluntarily took a setback start for safety, then he rose remarkably to the 12th place in the standings!
This evening he is in 14th rank out of 25 IMOCAs. Note that almost half of the fleet is made up of foilers. (sailboats capable of flying on a carbon carrier wing, therefore much faster than daggerboard sailboats like that of Guirec).
The competitors are now arriving in the area where the wind will be so rare that it will sometimes be necessary to invent it. This is a tactical step that will drastically redistribute the cards!
