Urgences au Groenland

Il n’y a pas de voyage sans imprévu. Bon, celui-ci je m’en serais bien passé ! 

Rapatrié en France en urgence hier pour des douleurs abdominales, j’ai été opéré cette nuit de l’appendicite qui tournait en péritonite.

Merci à mon ami Maxence, le médecin de l’aventure qui a tout pris en charge, depuis l’hôpital du Groenland jusqu’à l’hôpital parisien. 

Restons positif, heureusement que ça m’est arrivé alors que j’étais encore dans une ville ayant un aéroport et pas au milieu de l’océan Arctique… et pas pendant l’hivernage !

Ne vous inquiétez pas pour Monique, elle en a profité pour partir en vacances chez mon ami Julien à Ilulissat. Elle se la coule douce et se fait dorloter par ses enfants. Je la retrouve très vite pour continuer l’aventure, le passage du Nord-Ouest nous attend et ça ne va pas être du gâteau !

There is no journey without unforeseen event. Well, this one I didn’t want it to ! 

Urgently repatriated to France yesterday for abdominal pain, I was operated on that night of appendicitis. 

Thank you to my friend Maxence, the doctor of our adventure that has everything taken care of, since Greenland to Paris hospital . 

Remain positive, luckily it happened to me while I was still in a city with an airport and not in the middle of the Arctic Ocean ... or during wintering !

Do not worry about Monique, she took the opportunity to go on vacation with my friend Julien in Ilulissat . She takes it easy and she is pampered by his children. I will go back find her very soon to continue the adventure, the Northwest passage awaits us!
